Mitchell's journey into the plumbing and gas industry began early, at just 16 years old, in the UK where he specialised in commercial and industrial plumbing, gas systems, and central heating.
His extensive experience spans years of working with prominent companies across England and New Zealand before he decided to establish Specialised Gas and Plumbing in 2022. This move allowed him to focus on niche projects such as recreational vehicles and marine applications, leveraging his expertise in these specialised areas.

Mitchell is renowned for his dedication to delivering exceptional tradesmanship, coupled with a reputation for approachability, knowledgeability, and a strong work ethic. His proficiency in RVs and caravans, gained through years of hands-on experience in the UK, is particularly valuable in New Zealand where many recreational vehicles are imports, necessitating specialised knowledge of their unique appliances and systems.
